Brethren, our commonwealth is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself. Therefore, my brethren, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord. And I ask you also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. | يَُّا إِخْوَة، إِنَّ سِيرَتَنَا نَحْنُ هِيَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ، الَّتِي مِنْهَا أَيْضاً نَنْتَظِرُ مُخَلِّصاً هُوَ الرَّبُّ يَسُوعُ الْمَسِيحُ، الَّذِي سَيُغَيِّرُ شَكْلَ جَسَدِ تَوَاضُعِنَا لِيَكُونَ عَلَى صُورَةِ جَسَدِ مَجْدِهِ، بِحَسَبِ عَمَلِ اسْتِطَاعَتِهِ أَنْ يُخْضِعَ لِنَفْسِهِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ. إِذاً يَا إِخْوَتِي الأَحِبَّاءَ وَالْمُشْتَاقَ إِلَيْهِمْ، يَا سُرُورِي وَإِكْلِيلِي، اثْبُتُوا هَكَذَا فِي الرَّبِّ أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاءُ. أَطْلُبُ إِلَى أَفُودِيَةَ وَأَطْلُبُ إِلَى سِنْتِيخِي أَنْ تَفْتَكِرَا فِكْراً وَاحِداً فِي الرَّبِّ. نَعَمْ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْتَ أَيْضاً، يَا شَرِيكِي الْمُخْلِصَ، سَاعِدْ هَاتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ جَاهَدَتَا مَعِي فِي الإِنْجِيلِ، مَعَ أَكْلِيمَنْدُسَ أَيْضاً وَبَاقِي الْعَامِلِينَ مَعِي، الَّذِينَ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ فِي سِفْرِ الْحَيَاةِ. |

At that time, when Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, he answered them, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, 'Lo, here it is!' or 'There!' for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you." And he said to the disciples, "The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and you will not see it. And they will say to you, 'Lo, there!' or 'Lo, here!' Do not go, do not follow them. For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of man be in his day. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation." | 20 في ذلك الزمان سَأَلَ الْفَرِّيسِيُّونَ يسوع : ((مَتَى يَأْتِي مَلَكُوتُ اللهِ؟)) أَجَابَهُمْ وَقَالَ : ((لاَ يَأْتِي مَلَكُوتُ اللهِ بِمُرَاقَبَةٍ ، 21وَلاَ يَقُولُونَ: هُوَذَا هَهُنَا ، أَوْ: هُوَذَا هُنَاكَ : لأَنْ هَا مَلَكُوتُ اللهِ دَاخِلَكُمْ)).22وَقَالَ لِلتَّلاَمِيذِ: ((سَتَأْتِي أَيَّامٌ فِيهَا تَشْتَهُونَ أَنْ تَرَوْا يَوْماً وَاحِداً مِنْ أَيَّامِ ابْنِ الإِنْسَانِ وَلاَ تَرَوْنَ. 23وَيَقُولُونَ لَكُمْ:هُوَذَا هَهُنَا ! أَوْ: هُوَذَا هُنَاكَ! لاَ تَذْهَبُوا وَلاَ تَتْبَعُوا ، 24لأَنَّهُ كَمَا أَنَّ الْبَرْقَ الَّذِي يَبْرُقُ مِنْ نَاحِيَةٍ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ ، يُضِيءُ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ كَذَلِكَ يَكُونُ أَيْضاً ابْنُ الإِنْسَانِ فِي يَوْمِهِ. 25وَلَكِنْ يَنْبَغِي أَوَّلاً أَنْ يَتَأَلَّمَ كَثِيراً وَيُرْفَضَ مِنْ هَذَا الْجِيلِ)).
